24 patients have benefited from subsidized pacemakers after M.P. Shah Hospital partnered with the East African Heart Rhythm Project, a German non-profit organization, to offer subsidized pacemakers in a two-week medical mission.
25 children with heart-related defects have undergone free medical operations at M.P. Shah Hospital sponsored by the hospital in collaboration with a medical team from Healing Little Hearts Charity and Jain Social Group.

A team of employees have embarked on an ambitious plan to engage in cleaning activities within and around the hospital. Ng’arisha, a Swahili word for ‘Clean It’, is driven by employee volunteerism led by Head of Nursing – Mrs. Marren Chunga and composed of staff drawn from different hospital departments.
The Suryakala Maganbhai Children’s Medical Centre was officially opened on Sunday March 18, 2018 by philanthropist Dr.Maganbhai Chandaria in a colourful ceremony that was attended by friends of the hospital, members of the board of governance, senior hospital management and members of staff.
