DR MARCELLO TARQUINI

Dr Marcello Tarquini is a newly appointed Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Surgery department. He is a specialised surgeon in general trauma, knee and hip replacement, shoulder and sports injuries. He has an interest in robotic arm assisted surgery.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dr Marcello joined us from Policlinico Casilino, Rome, Italy, where he was the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Policlinico Casilino is one of the largest trauma centres in Rome. Prior to that he was at Nuova Villa Claudia also as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He has held similar positions in Italy in various hospital and clinics as a resident Orthopaedic Surgeon.

QUALIFICATIONS

Dr Marcello holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from University of Rome, La Sapienza, Umberto Hospital. In 2007 he gained a specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma from University of Rome.
