Founded in the early 1930s by visionary philanthropists, the hospital began as Parklands Nursing Home with a mission to alleviate suffering in the community. Over time, this vision grew beyond a modest nursing home into the fully-fledged, multi-specialty institution that M.P. Shah Hospital is today.

During the celebration event at the Hummingbird Hall, a cake-cutting ceremony took place symbolizing this significant milestone, and staff members were honored with certificates in recognition of their exceptional performance during the hospital’s initial Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation survey. This gesture highlighted the dedication and hard work that contributed to achieving this prestigious recognition.
