Staff recover materials like copper and safely dispose of toxins like lead using facility-wide collection points. This initiative addresses Kenya’s e-waste challenge, promotes sustainability, and sets a new standard in healthcare. By safely managing e-waste, recovering valuable resources, and fostering a sustainable culture, the programme protects the environment and patient health. CEO Dr Toseef Din emphasises that the team’s efforts safeguard both the planet and patients’ futures, establishing a new sustainability benchmark in Kenya’s healthcare sector.
