Every year, over a million children worldwide are born with congenital heart disease, yet only a fraction receive the life-saving treatment they need. From 22 May to 13 June 2025, M.P. Shah Hospital proudly hosts the 14th Healing Little Hearts camp, a collaborative effort with the UK-based charity Healing Little Hearts, to provide free open-heart surgeries and cardiac interventions for children with heart defects. During this period, numerous children will undergo critical screenings to identify heart conditions, with those in urgent need scheduled for advanced procedures, including open-heart surgeries and minimally invasive cardiac catheterisation, ensuring they receive the care necessary to lead healthier, fuller lives.
