TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- In case of change in accommodation request to a higher category, relevant charges will be applicable.
- The package only applies to Hospital doctors who MUST assess the eligibility of the patient for the package.
- SHA rebates are applicable for contributors at a rate
of Ksh. 30,000/- for CS and Ksh. 10,000/- for normal delivery per admission. This has already been applied to the above prices. Patients who are not SHA contributors will be required to pay the equivalent of:- Ksh 30,000 for a Caesarean Section (CS).
- Ksh 10,000 for a normal delivery.
- Those opting to use the package but with external doctors will bear the professional doctor’s fee above the package price indicated.
- A patient is eligible for the package only if they have signed the package agreement and paid the package amount, or obtained a corporate undertaking, on or before the 36th week of pregnancy.
- The package is only valid once full payment has been done.
- The package is applicable to insurance, corporate clients and cash payers.
- If the delivery involves any complications or the use of instruments (e.g., forceps, vacuum delivery), the package will not apply, and the patient will be required to pay the bill in full, as per the actual charges.
- If a Caesarean Section (CS) or elective procedure becomes an emergency due to complications, the package will not apply, and the patient will be required to pay the bill in full, based on the actual charges.
