Blue-uniformed hospital staff, flyers and no-smoking signs sprinkled Nairobi CBD in the week leading to World No Tobacco Day 2018 as M.P. Shah Hospital unrolled an ambitious anti-tobacco campaign to curb the popular smoking habit that has taken a serious toll on the country’s health.

74 children benefit from free heart program
Children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) have benefited from another heart program organized by M.P Shah Hospital in partnership with the Jain Social Group, doctors from Great Ormond Street Hospital, UK and Healing Little Hearts, an international charity organization.
Free Medical Camp at BAPS
Hundreds of people were on April 22, 2018 treated to free medical check-ups courtesy of M.P. Shah Hospital. The medical camp which was held at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple was in partnership with BAPS Charities and attracted over 300 people drawn from diverse cultures and communities.
Ng’arisha Team Hit Road for Cleanup
A team of employees have embarked on an ambitious plan to engage in cleaning activities within and around the hospital. Ng’arisha, a Swahili word for ‘Clean It’, is driven by employee volunteerism led by Head of Nursing – Mrs. Marren Chunga and composed of staff drawn from different hospital departments.
Staff and Family Fun Day
Staff at M.P. Shah Hospital and their families attended this year's Staff and Family Fun Day held on April 14, 2018 at Visa Oshwal Primary School. The event featured field and track events including: football, relay competition, sack races, and kids' activities such as bouncing castle.
Opening of the Children’s Hospital
The Suryakala Maganbhai Children's Medical Centre was officially opened on Sunday March 18, 2018 by philanthropist Dr.Maganbhai Chandaria in a colourful ceremony that was attended by friends of the hospital, members of the board of governance, senior hospital management and members of staff.

ENT Camp at Visa Oshwal Primary
In marking the World Hearing Day on 3rd March 2018, the ENT team at M.P Shah Hospital organised a free ENT screening and awareness camp at Visa Oshwal Primary School in Parklands, Nairobi.
