Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital partnered with M.P. Shah Hospital, NTSA, AA Kenya, City Eye Hospital, Lions Club of Kagio, NACADA, Hindu Council of Kenya, St John Ambulance, Chiromo Hospital Groups and Kingsway Tyres for the Greener Future Initiative.

This collaborative effort included a tree planting event at Thiba Dam, Kirinyaga County, as part of the national tree planting campaign.

This initiative targeted school, PSV and boda boda drivers and aimed to ensure road safety by addressing the health needs of drivers. In collaboration with various stakeholders, organised a free #UsalamaBarabarani medical screening camp at Kamiigua Polytechnic in Kirinyaga County.

The camp provided drivers with free eye, ear and foot health screenings. Over 200 people were screened in Kirinyaga County with the aim of identifying any potential health issues that could affect driving safety and overall wellbeing. The tree planting event was attended by distinguished guests including our Chairman, Dr Manila Dodhia, Vice Chairman, Dr Manoj Shah and General Manager NTSA, Dr Rizwana Peerbhoy. This initiative not only promotes environmental conservation but also underlines our commitment to community welfare and sustainable development.
